Welcome to Julia’s Book Reviews! I have always wanted to start a blog to reach a wider audience of book lovers. One of my biggest passions is reading and talking about those books. I hope that this can become a community in which we can discuss authors, tropes, current reads, and more.
A little bit about me: My name is Julia and I currently live in Florida. I have a zoo at home, full of fluffy pets and creepy-crawlies! Some of my favorite genres are dark romance, LGBTQ+ fiction, and mythic fantasy. I love to nerd out with friends over our (often niche) literary taste and complain about overused tropes. My favorite books are The Outsiders (YA), Little Women (Classics), Jurassic Park (Sci-Fi), Fire and Blood (High Fantasy), and All for the Game (LGBTQ+/Sports Fiction). I am a sucker for the Grumpy x Sunshine trope, supernatural entities trying to act human (unsuccessfully), and the femme fatale archetype.
